Ok I see what you mean I have an overhang in the winter I don't get sunlight in the North. In the summer I do. I'm don't have the space for a indoor lighting. I would like to have my orchids disperse throughout my home to improve air quality and makes me happy to see them. Thanks for your information. Maybe when I have a sunroom I can have a set up with lights.

Just to let you know that light set-ups can range from something small to fit say on one of those TV tables to those 2ft-4ft in length or even some that a slender but taller. Sites online are numerous should you want to investigate!

Maybe I could drill some holes for air movement. And buy a humidifier.

My kids love to dig into my orchids they love the bloom spikes as well. I have a 2 and 3 year olds love to get a hold of them and admire their beauty once the have broken the spikes or blooms!
