Paph question about leaves

I have a paph that I got last year that has put up two new growths. The original leaves were mottled, but the two new growths are not. Is that just because it's not mature or is something else going on. I have noticed that the original leaves mottling is not as noticeable as it was when it was new. It's in mostly shade with a bit of sun in the afternoon. Could it need more or less light ?
