not what i wanted

i received my orchids today in the mail and they are in great shape. since i bought a whole bunch of surprise orhids and i didnt know what i would get. i'm excited to see what my three lycatses will turn out to be. i got a slipper orchid that came in bloom. it was not what i wanted. i really dislike this type. i was hoping for a parvi type surprise. but oh well it was a surprise lady slipper. in great shape. maybe i'll give it away as a gift. not what i wanted

I'm not going to lie, I agree with your assessment (and taste). I'm not a huge fan of the complex paph hybrids, though I am a huge fan of the parvi group.
