I think I might have started a thread on this one, but this plant opened up its second flower open. Yay!

Last year, the dorsal curled backward looking just like spicerianum within about three weeks after the bloom opened, but the first flower, which has been in bloom a little over one month now, is quite flat with only bottom most portion curling backward slightly.

It is interesting to see how strong of influence spicerianum has on this hybrid.
Oh, by the way, this is spicerianum crossed on to Gege Huges. I like how the flower came out, and it is also a super grower. The flower lasted for about 7 months last time it bloomed. I think I cut it off because I got tired of it actually.

I hope it continues on throwing more than one flower at a time. Wouldn't that be nice?

Lovely. How just how can one get tired of a bloom? I don't think I could.

Well, after about half a year of looking at the same flower which lose that vibrant color over time, I tend to lose the excitement. lol

Plus, by then, I have other orchids in bloom like Tolumnias, Cattleyas, different paphs...
