So....is this a bud spike?? Bought it in bloom and this the first time I've seen this type of growth. Fingers crossed!

Yep, that's definitely a spike. May be a while yet though. I find paphs can take forever for the spike to mature and open

Thank you all for the replies! This is so great...I cannot believe how well the chids are all doing now. We moved to this home last February and built the orchid hut in May, where they've been since...I think they love their new home as much as I love mine! Now hoping for a *relatively* mild winter. Better chance of it being in Florida and all...yay!
