Fragrant Paphiopedilum spicerianum
I have heard one member in UK say that his spicy is scented and no one ever believed him.
Well, here I have mine in bloom and it is quite strongly scented. I don't know how to describe other than spicy. lol
For those who have Tahoma Glacier, it smells like that one. mostly pepper and just slight hint of sweetness.
It's not the best scent out there, but it is scented and I'm surprised.

That's pretty nice. I never get tired of seeing the unique staminode on these. Looks like a little alien or something.

A better picture, I think. 
The fragrance is nearly gone by the way.
I guess it's only for the first few days, sort of like some phalaenopsis has spicy scent when first opened.

Correct, the name came from the person who discovered this species.
Mine definitely had spicy scent, but only in the beginning. A few days after it fully opened, it has very minimal to zero scent now.
