New Paphiopedilum Maudiae 'Napa Valley' in spaghnum mo

They don't carry paphs at TJ here, but I saw a bunch at a TJ in California.
They were all either the variety you have, or Supersuk & Rainsin Pie cross.
I picked a beauful coloratum with very big flower. I think I paid under $10.

That plant is now coming into spike. I'm excited!!!

It's a great way for a beginner to learn about a new genus without a lot of expense. I'm thrilled with my 3 new purchases from TJ's and have a plant I bid on arriving soon. I'll send a photo when it arrives. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

Those two very common varieties are sold at a ridiculous price here in Manhattan. lol
