Chia Hua Dancer blooming!
I know it's early days yet but I'm SO EXCITED!
I take absolutely no credit for this other than keeping it alive. It arrived in bud. From what I hear this might be the only time I get to see these flowers!

You need a little more confidence in yourself . Once you get a multi to blooming size I find they become easier.

I certainly hope I get to see this some day. Mine has 3 fans and is just so slow at progressing.

I'm so impatient. I know I spent too much on this but a blooming plant was hard to resist. And actually- it was an auction and I paid ~$70...the next one like this went for ~$150 though it's been relisted so who knows that happened there.

I originally purchased a single fan plant that crown rotted almost immediately. I got it on ebay and figured I wasted that money. I found the seller again a couple months later and contacted him to tell him what happened. I didn't ask for a replacement because I figured it would be a lost cause. He got back to me and ended up offering to replace it for just shipping cost. And, he sent me a 2 fan replacement! It is now looking a bit yellow/green so I think I have it in a bit too much light.

I remember reading about that on the slipper orchid board, I think! Nice to get a replacement so far out. I have a few paphs that I am anxious about but it's because they are so slow....I need to remember that's just how they are!

Oh me oh my! I can't wait to see when they're fully open. I have a Lebaudyanum mostly because I lost an auction for such a plant. Mine has 3-4 growths and I've been waiting and watching SOOO impatiently. It's growing two new leaves I think, gosh the wait...So good job even if it came in bud for carrying it the rest of the way. And yes, have more faith in yourself and your abilities, but I know it's nerve wracking.

Two blooms are open and one is getting there; one is hanging out.
