Paph. Deception II (delenatii x niveum)

I take no credit for the bloom - I got this in bud a month ago

Tiny Paph! (the reason I got it) Blooming fan has lovely mottled 2" leaves. I didn't know what the bloom would look like, but I know I like both delenatii and niveum, so I figured it should be to my liking. Bloom is 2" across. I have not detected any fragrance.

The last photo (with the soda can for size reference) the bloom is closer to the camera than the plant and can, so looks ginormous - the bloom is large for the size of the plant, but not as much as it appears in the pic

Very pretty. I just got a Paph under similar circumstance, short leaves & bloom will be a surprise though it should be dark. I can't wait.

So are you happy with your surprise bloom?
