Wow~ I wish I had a lot more space to buy that many plants at a time! I can only buy 15 or 30 at a time to toss most of them.

Prescreened... Well, that is true and that sort of takes the fun of out the "lottery" aspect big time if you think about it. but as is mentioned by both of you, Graham could accidently miss a few here and there, or even break off the spikes (and let's say some of these are good ones and make it out to us!) and some of the shoppers like you might get lucky!

All the paphs I get from Lehua are multiple growth plants in bud. and at least mines are all previously bloomed with two/three spent spikes. (by this, I'm rather worried if he uses one cutter to go through thousands of paphs. Dang!)
So I get instant gratification and good healthy plants that are already in great momentum of getting going!!! and they are cheap.

Downside, they are the leftovers. lol

I think asking him about how he sorts out the leftovers is rather challenging although we as shoppers would love to know.
Whatever he answers, I'd like to know just for curiosity's sake. hahaha

Hey, ask him about how he goes about cutting off the spent spikes on so many plants!
