Slow growing species for me. This species is on the small side. Perhaps smallest of the brachypetalum group.

Is this a miniature paph?

I've seen some paph species being advertised as miniatures and I wondered if that was a scam.

VERY beautiful! I love the bloom on this!

Yes, its one of the true paph miniatures. It's growing in a 10 cm pot with half of it filled with styrofoam peanuts.

There are true miniature paphs namely, coccineum, barbigerum, helenae, thaianum, canhii and henryanum.

Thank you for sharing! I haven't tried a paph species yet, mine are hybrids. I feel safer starting with a hybrid, then branch out into species after I feel like I understand how to care for the hybrid, but was really tempted by these miniatures I'd seen. They're so cute!!
