New! Paph. Hawaiian Illusion
 Yeah buddy! 
Today got the last of my splurges this month:
Paph. Hawaiian Illusion
(Varuna 'Kaiena III' x Grand Illusions 'Kanoho')
It's in spike and has 3 growths with a small 4th I believe. This is the 3rd Paph. for me and its mottled leaves are a different color and pattern than the two I already have, gotta love more variety. They're really pretty and I absolutely can't wait for it to flower, should be super cool. I'll update when I can but here's what it looks like for now. As far as I can tell it looks like a good healthy plant. I'm not familiar with the brown speckling on the tips of some of the leaves though, haven't seen this with the other two. |

This plant originated from Graham at Lehua. Every Hawaiian Illusion flower looks different... some, very different, so post when you get one please!

Here's the bloom!
Here is the beautiful bloom of my Paph. 'Hawaiian Illusion'. It's not nearly as dark as I thought it might be but I'm happy all the same. Sadly as you can see on the right petal my Cockatoo got a hold of it a couple weeks ago when I wasn't looking.  He got the Dorsal sepal too but didn't tear any pieces off like he did the petal, phew.

Well, the damage isn't too bad at all.
Pretty flowers! congrats!
Yours look more like French Jewel or Double Deception (especially the leaves look very much like this, heavily influenced by venustum), also by the same seller.
But they can all look the same pretty much with lots of variability.
Regarding those leaves with marks, I have only seen them on a few of my complex hybrids. I have not yet figured out what they are, but with mine, they spread gradually, so I trimmed them off and that was the end of it.
I would say leave them if they are not spreading, but if they are, then trim them off.
