The slipper itself is more pinkish with yellow, then shown in the photo's, my camera just didn't pick up on the hue of the colors. This is the first bloom and I'm happy with the number of buds I'm seeing.

The scent is wonderful - you can't detect it across the room like a catt, but its fairly strong. I was surprised.
Its starts off smelling like a rose then goes into a gardenia perfume scent.
