I hear ya, but the two orchid growers I respect the most say otherwise! There is debate about which plant was originally described.
My take - in the orchid world, things are always changing, and at times going back and forth. It doesn't really matter to me. I enjoy them for what they are.

I suppose it should be noted that over time, there have been many, many disagreements on how ALL the Cochlopetalums relate to each other. I still love them for what they are - or are not! :-)
