The warmer growing paphs would do excellent there. Especially the multiflorals like Ppah. A sanderianum, lowii, rothschildianum and their hybrids.

I agree. The phrags do resent too much heat. They are great for indoors, though. What I like is that bugs don't seem to like them.

Great, I mostly grow species orchids, but I'm not opposed to an occasional exception when something knocks my socks off, so to speak. Do you think your recommendations would be ok with the occasional and sudden drop in temps into the 40's. Such temp drops are usually only for a night or two and then back to the tropics.

Yes, they should be fine. A friend know quite a few people who grow those kinds in Florida and they have monster plants loaded with blooms.
