Default Paphiopedilum liemianum and parvi hybrids

This is one of the new paphs I got at the show this week.
I see a few other buds dangling under the current flower, and there are two new fans going as well.

One of two species I have.

The second picture, from the top left and clockwise, paph. Helen Congleton, Norito Hasegawa, and Lynleigh Koopowitz.

The latter two are the ones I have had on my wishlist for a long time.
Helen Congleton is something I've never heard of, but after identifying the parentage, I got it just for fun and for the beautiful foliage. Oh, and it is small, so fits anywhere. all the reasons I find to buy more paphs. hahaha
Now I wonder how this one will bloom out. more like my Armeni White or Lynleigh Koopowitz.
and of course I am soooo looking forward to the future blooms on the other two. I have seen some ugly ones and some super nice ones. please please nice ones!!!

I love these so much, not only for the blooms but for the spotted leaves, I wish I knew how to grow some here better:-)

Thanks, everyone!

I wanted Black Diamond as well, but the I just missed the only one the vendor had right in front of my eyes. Someone acted fast while I was pondering for a second. lol

I'm going back tomorrow and see what's left.
Maybe I should just stay home, but oh, well. hahaha

Tommy, have you tried these plants in Florida?
I would guess they should be fine as long as you don't cook them in the sun and have a fan blowing at them to keep the summer heat down.

I think there was a thread by a member in south Florida who grows TONS of paphs of many kinds.

You can do it as well!
