Default Paph sukhakulii aureum

Still working on my photos. The dorsal is quite symmetrical but I guess how I took this one, it's hard to tell. I'm having fun though and that's all that matters to me.

Maybe it's just the angle of the photo but did it open all the way? Nice color!

It did not stand straight up. The dorsal is somewhat... cupped.

I've had three flowers do this lately... . venustum album, this one, and wardii. I'm not sure why. I don't think I've done anything different with these three plants, seems to just be luck of my draw? It's the first time I've seen any of these three bloom so we will see what happens next time. Any thoughts?

Are you staking them? If so, I think it was RJ that noticed, if you clip them to the stake do it below the ovary. If the ovary gets pinched before it has fully developed the flower will not open all the way. If you aren't staking then I have no idea!

No stakes. I'm thinking it's either a humidity or watering issue.
