Paph. Bruno 'Model'
So I often try to get more than one of a plant, especially if it's something I really like. With Bruno, I got four. This is the first to bloom this year. Also, with the help of another member on this board, I'm attempting to take better pictures. My lighting equipment arrived about an hour ago and this is my first shot at it.
Things seem to be working out.
So, presenting... Paph Bruno 'Model' AM/RHS

Nice photo, good composition. Might I suggest you remove the plant tag for a better presentation?

Looking good.
If you leave at least a couple of feet between your subject (in this case the flower) and the black backdrop. The backdrop will be out of focus. Giving the illusion of a flat black background in your pictures.

I love both the plant/flower and the focussed photo with excellent illumination. Congratulations.

Thanks all!
I have mixed feelings about the tag being in there. I suppose it 'should' be gone but I'm so used to looking at it, I guess I kind of like it there. I will take another pic without it though.
NYC, I sent you a PM.
Eggshells, thanks for all your help! I know I'm on the right track, more to work on of course. Fortunately I have a lot of orchids that need photos to practice with :-)
I will post more more when the others come in bloom. Two of the plants have two flowers, so that will be a new challenge with the photos.
