no but I have seen various forms of these and they always have reminded me of that. Plus if they were not so stinking picky I would have one to go with my other odd looking flowers. ie My coryanthes and stanhopea.

But my brother in law does do marine biology type stuff.

I just watched a documentary on the intelligent mollusc last night. mostly cuttlefish and octopus.
It was fascinating!!!

By the way, fairy hybrids are easy to grow and bloom. Go and get one!
The thing is the plant size tends to be large, but often the plants show the clumping habit of fairrieanum and perform well.

This particular plant. but I have a few and all are easy like those good ol easy maudiae type.

Grow warm to intermediate. Keep them moist under good light.

If you have other mottled leafed paphs or phals, you can treat these as them.

It has warm and higher light species in the background, but it is mixed up with something else, so I would think you can grow them the same way together.

I don't think humidity affect my paphs much. It is around 60-80 in the summer and other seasons can be much lower like around 40 and above.

Watering, Keep them moist. never bone dry, although short period (like one day or two) of being dry won't kill them, you will see how the leaves go all sleepy. lol
so keep the plant well watered.

What do you mean it is mad at you???

That type of paphs usually grow tons of roots, so you want to water well. more roots means things dry up faster.

I have Jolly Holiday, which has similar background as Honey and the roots are crazy like udon noodle filling up the pot and the leaves are thick and large.
It drainks! let me tell you that much! lol
