Paph issues...
Okay, I must be doing something wrong or maybe this is normal I am not sure. The paph's get bright filtered early morning to mid morning light. They are never allowed to get full sun, the humidity is not known but I have 4 of them in the window with a large pyrex dish of live sphagnum. They are not ever allowed to completely dry out, but they are dry enough to require soaking. They are all in net pots with better gro special mix, with some hydroton or packing peanuts to make sure that there is air in the bottom...I noticed on my paph godefroyea(sp?) has only one root left, and it is starting to shrivel up, it looks to have some new growth up close to the top of the plants leaves, it is also growing a new leaf...is this normal for these?
My paph emerald that I received the other day is doing the same thing, the base of the roots are starting to shrivel up and die...What am I doing wrong? So far my Winnie the Pooh xHoney paph is doing quite well as far as I can tell...It may be to soon to tell....

And when I say filtered it has to come through my large oak tree on the side of my house and then the roof hangs over the window giving it a little more shade....
