I know the "American standard" for complex hybrids are as flat as possible look, but I like the old English standard of slightly cupped in look, which is how most of mines are.

I still like the flat ones depending on the overall shape and balance of the flowers.

amazing story... you own a piece of history, and beings it is a paph, you know that you have the only piece of history that exists of that orchid because clones cant be taken from it! would love to see pix of the plant itself
