thats a graham wood Lehua hybrid. He has provisionally named it Paph Honey Addict. Long lasting flowers w/long tails and good posture. Smaller flowers than the addicted philip. not as pretty a pouch as paph honey gets from the primulum parent. a lot of brown and mahogany from the philippinense side bec it gets a double dose of it.
Mine bloomed out a year ago and it has 2 new small growths. Its going to be a very long time before I see blooms again
Well mr. Squirrel check you out. I like it. This actually has 3 full growths that could be easily separated. I hope I can get it to bloom this winter spring.
dont seperate it!!! it wont like that...just let it grow all in one piece it will grow and mature much faster into blooms.
the plant gets the energy from the growths behind it..flower power ya know? if you break them off into singles they will each have to grow 2 or 3 more growths behind that one to have enough flower power to bloom. paphs dont mind being repotted any time you feel like it.they dont like being cut up unless you can get at least 3 plants. The rule of thumbs for most orchids is 3 plants growths roots or bulbs before you severe the ties.
