Pretty and unique flower!
I saw three specimen sized ones at a store today. I really had to put down my urge. lol |
curious picture
Today I went to my greenhouse and took a curious snapshot of one of my plants of Paphiopedilum gratrixianum.
In the same plant you can see three different stages of flowers opening.... http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/DSC_5276.jpg |

Now the main part of them are in bloom/bloomed and only few aren't ready to flower. Soon I will take a picture for the complete collection. Great dedication, but also great satisfaction!! ---------- Post added at 08:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:22 PM ---------- Quote:

I love how that picture shows the three flowers in different (but sequential) stages, as if it was time elapsed shots of the same flower going from a bud that just begins to open to a fully open flower.
