Both of my alba flowers are now open, and both are really big and nicely colored, except one of them, the bigger one, is not standing up its dorsal looking funny. hmmm

Hmm.... we get lots of phals and intergenerics too.... dens both nobile and phal type, Epidendrum, miltonia, paphs, zygo, cymbidiums, and the occasional mini cattleya.
But never what I want when I want it.

I hope the dorsal corrects itself!

I wish mine carried smirking but vinis and albas.... I'm cheap and I like to see what I'm buying. So trader Joe's works out well for me.

Beautiful flower. It must be a humidity issue for the petals to curl back....but it looks very interesting for the flower to open up wide instead of flat.

I thought humidity at first. But my house has been at 60% for the past few months, and it never drops below 40%.
I'll have to see, there's another spike on the way up, so I can compare blooms

The Plant House sounds like a heaven to me. too far though, oh, well...

We get lots of cymbidiums in the winter into early spring as well. All NOID, but quite a few different colors to choose from with low price.

The dorsal is slowly standing up, but still quite low and very concave.
