Yeah, I love the color and the glossy look a lot. The dorsal is twisting more and more every day it seems. oh, well...Why can't the darn thing stay straight out and up!!! lol
Is your spike growing taller at all??
Mine is getting taller slowly.
I hope yours is alive.

Thanks. Not by much, if any, for a few weeks. Not brown yet, so I'm not giving up! It was a $10 plant so I won't loose sleep over it. But, you know how it goes...

True, and as long as the spike is fat and perky, I think all is well. Time will tell.

Two more open!
First one is a cross Callosum and Hilo Ruby.
I like this one, but I looks almost the same of many of what I have had. I am still looking for something great.
and the second one is a cross of Magic Voodoo and Charlesworthii. Other than a big white streak on the dorsal, I really like this flower.

Here's a picture of my Paph Hsinying Rubyweb x Paph Magic Leopard 'Voodoo'. It's been in bloom for at least two months. The second picture is of another Vini. Recently acquired Paph Hsinying Viniweb 'Raspberry' x Paph fairrieanum 'Red Swan'.

I forgot to mention NYC - I do have some growth on one of the spikes of that plant of mine. At the rate it's going, I expect a flower sometime after Halloween......
