You don't see these very often. From what I've been told they can be very slow to grow and temperamental. So congrats to you for getting it to bloom! It's very nice.
Yesterday I was watering a division given to me by Naoki (MollyCart) a couple of years ago, and noticed I have a spike started. It's the first one for me. Unfortunately I most likely won't be around when it opens. We are leaving on vacation in a few days and won't be back until 9/1. Unless they are long lasting flowers I will probably miss seeing it completely.
