Beautiful plant!

What can you tell us about the media it's in? Looks perhaps like Coconut Husk Chips, perlite, and charcoal ? And how often are you actually watering now? Are you fertilizing it at all?

Thanks to everyone for the good information on this thread. I ordered my first two phrags a couple days ago from Piping Rock Orchids. I'm looking forward to trying to grow them.

Congrat!

looking forward to seeing pictures of them in bloom in the near future.

I also like Sorcerer's Apprentice but last time I saw, the plant was really big.
Allison Strohm, I have no idea, but given the parents, it should be nice!

good for you!

I was looking at there orchids just the other day. Strange but at first I didn't like the looks of the Kovachii but when I found out how big it is now I want one and also a cross.

Can't wait to see them when you get them and then when they bloom.

Piping Rock is one of the best for paphs and phrags. I've gotten more than a few plants from him and everyone has been very well grown. I've never mail ordered, only bought at shows. You won't be disappointed!

Whoa!! You folks didn't mention how big these things are. I ordered a blooming size Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice and the plant is huge. I don't know where I'm going to put this monster.
