My first true paph bud
Well, I've had a Paph. wardii for about 6 months now. In that time its put up two new leafs and the last one stopped growing when it reached 2" long. That got me a little excited. Last week I noticed that it was pushing out a new lead and while checking today I have a little hairy bud popping up!
Sorry for the flash. ![Laughing](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

This species has been a challenge for me. I think after it blooms its going to go into spagh because it dries out in about 3 hours with the bark its in.

Congratulations. It's so exciting having your first bud. I had this las summer (bud started in July). I'm hoping for another one this summer.
Please post pictures of it's progress.

Yay! Bud-watch!
My wardii blasted its bud last year, but has two new growths now, so I hope it'll try again later this year and make it this time. ![Very Happy](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
