Thumbs up Paph. delenatii

Same delenatii as here: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-begins-2.html

Shape isn't perfect but I like it, my first paph. The color is good though.

Photography isn't the best but for me, it's pretty darn good.

Yes, mine is. It has a slight rose scent.

I wish you luck with your delenatii. I grow mine in a clay pot in a mix of sphagnum, charcoal, and medium bark. It may help keep the roots cooler. Parvis like to be just a little bit cooler and drier in winter. Putting on a cool windowsill at night is what I did for a few weeks. I grow under HO T5 lights. You could probably grow on a cool windowsill starting in late winter until it blooms.

Is this a first time bloomer? If it is that is a very nice flower for a first bloom. Well done!

Sort of. Last year I knocked the buds off accidently.

Thanks for posting that. Your timing couldn't be better for me, as I just bought my first Paph in-bud yesterday at the SEPOS Show: Paph. delenatii sm x (P. delanatii v. Dunkel x self) from Parkside Orchids. So now I have some idea what I'm looking forward to.

That is a nice example, I would be happy with it.

Really pretty.

Do you find this a very slow grower? Mine grows but incredibly slowly. I haven't bloomed it yet (it had a flower when bought but no re-bloom).
