It must have good genes. It has always put out 2 buds even as a first bloom seedling. This year is the first time it has put out 3. Several years ago it was nominated for an AOS award. Ultimately it was not awarded because of some slight asymmetry. One petal was curved forward. It had been trying to open against the first flower on that side. The Paph. expert in the judging group told me to take good care of it as the plant was definitely award quality.
NYC, the last bloom is 4" petal to petal and 4" from dorsal to bottom of pouch. I think the first two flowers were slightly larger.
The flowers typically last for about a month. The longest it was ever in bloom was 39 days. That's the downside of growing Parvies, they never seem to last long enough.
