Default Paph. Ho Chi Minh

I'm a little behind on posting. This picture was from about a month ago. The first two flowers browned so I cut them off. The third bud is now blooming nicely. It's long overdue for a repot so as soon as it's done blooming I'll get it done.

You can see the third bud in the middle of the second pic.

Very pretty! I wish mine would bloom but the foliage so pretty that it looks great without blooms.

I like the way the petals are infused with pink all the through. It's a nice one.

Beautiful, Terri! Great color and shape for this cross, IMO. 3 flowers is pretty awesome, too, I've never gotten more than one at a time...

Love this one, it's been on my wish list for a long time. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for it. Great growing!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

It must have good genes. It has always put out 2 buds even as a first bloom seedling. This year is the first time it has put out 3. Several years ago it was nominated for an AOS award. Ultimately it was not awarded because of some slight asymmetry. One petal was curved forward. It had been trying to open against the first flower on that side. The Paph. expert in the judging group told me to take good care of it as the plant was definitely award quality.

NYC, the last bloom is 4" petal to petal and 4" from dorsal to bottom of pouch. I think the first two flowers were slightly larger.

The flowers typically last for about a month. The longest it was ever in bloom was 39 days. That's the downside of growing Parvies, they never seem to last long enough.
