Hmm... Not so sure if the 3rd bud is going to do anything. I took the 2 pictures below to show how much the spike grows in 24 hours- 1/2 an inch. That seems fast to me. I've noticed that my delenatii seems to grow its spikes faster than phals or other paphs.

The spike has grown quite a bit more since the last picture was taken.

How exciting!
And there are two of them!

I just noticed today while watering that my Armeni White is spiking again.
It last flowered in September and then second spike in December but I accidently hit it and broke it right off.
This cross must be a free bloomer. I like it!

I know armeniacum can be pretty free blooming so it probably passed this trait on.

I heard Armeniacum is difficult to grow. Once the condition is met, then free blooming, I guess?

I'm glad mine didn't get any difficult part inherited in it. lol

By the way, is it common for Delenatti having two buds per spike? I've always seen single flower per spike.

Congratulations on the buds. The leaves on that plant are beautiful. Good growing.

So far locally, I've only seen delenatiis with two buds/blooms per spike. I have yet to see one in real life that has only 1 bloom per spike.
