I haven't seen any two paphs under this name that look the same.
Some have smallish flowers while some have rathr large flowers. The pattern of the leaves, the plant size itself, coloring of the flowers were all very different.

I used to buy a whole bunch of them and wait for surprises.
One of them that flowered last fall is spiking at the moment.

Thumbs up Paph. supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') x Sib

This flower promises to be quite large. It is taking its time to open! Will share photos when it is opened.
I have another one just the same, I don't remember the flower to be really large. This one holds promises!

For some reason, paph supersuk and hybrids with that in them tend to take sweet time to open the buds.
I almost thought something was wrong at first and now I know they are just slow.

Yes, I think I might be several weeks for the bud to open up. The spike is about 6 inches tall now. When I bought it the original spike was probably 3 times that and the flower was large, not huge but not small either.

The length of a spike differ by individual plants, but the shortest I've seen was about 8inch. Most are well above 10, most of mine are around 15inch.

Whatever the full length it is supposed to be, only then the bud will begin to grow more and open. So if the bud on your plant is already quite big at 6in tall, then you can safely guess the flower size I think.

Make sure you don't dry out the plant as doing so could cause some issues ranging from malformed flower to bud loss.

Good luck!

The flower is almost fully open. I will take a picture in the daylight tomorrow . It has a lot of warts on the tips. And overall very dark, hence the wait for daylight to take a picture!

The flower opened last weekend!! I'm so excited, this is the first orchid I've had re-flower, totally in my care. I love it!! Next time I will try to position it better because it is facing the opposite direction I would want, but still beautiful! But hey, I no expert...yet.

Thanks! When the bud opened I was actually out of town (I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to watch my first flower open) and the dorsal was was pushed up against the wall. I was a little worried it wouldn't open up all the way, but it did.
