Like every first weekend in February, there was a year market in the town next to ours. There they sell handcrafts, ecological food and vegetables, honey etc. It's a big market for fruit trees and any kind of plants. Between these plants also many orchids, but for the first time there were Paphiopedilums and of course I couldn't resist. I had planned on buying a cymbidium and a phal, but I ended buying also this Paph and a Cattleya (all hybrids, but I don't care) . I had never before seen a Paphio with such a big flower, and there are two of them. The cymbidium still has a complete spike to open and the cattleya has also a second sheath. I think all in all a good buy. Does anybody know if this Paphio has an ID?
