bought this seedling ctb paph at the orchid show in 2011. It has a flower bud , that I can peek into. Took a macro photo today....and I believe it IS Bellatulum I Think I see tiny spots...
It looks very much the same as delenatii hybrids and neveum hybrid when in bud, except they don't have spots on the bud.
I can see the tiny white buds inside the spotted sheaths (cover?). exciting time!
I read that bellatulum is difficult, what is your opinion??

Thanks I've only had this one since last year, and compared to my spicey....this one is growing like molasses in January ! very slllooowwwwlyyyy.
Regardless , its coming out of the crown, so hopefully a bloom soon
Any one have opinions or know what the slowest growing paph is? My vote is sanderianum. It can take 8-10 years to go from flaskling to blooming size. It can take 3-4 sometimes even 5 years to mature a new growth/fan to blooming size. Regardless, I have one and love it.
