That's a super looking flower! I like the colour a lot. Thanks for posting this, as now I have some idea of how long its going to take to see my little armeniacum x primulinum seedling flower.

Nice reward after your wait. Did you photgraph it in natural light or is it inside?

Natural light, the colour is actually more intense than the photo shows. It looks a little washed out to me compared to in person but I'm happy with the photos.

Bolero, you have the patience of a saint!
That was a long wait. . .but soooo worth it! The coloration is subtle & fruity! Reminds me of melon and soft green grapes.
Magnificent growing!
Your pictures are great but you are going to HAVE to get a piece of black velvet! When your orchids deserve the very best, nothing absorbs light as well as black velvet! lol
There is a neat little framework jig that you can make at First Rays to mount the velvet on. Here's a link.

Yeah I need black velvet, the cloth just isn't black enough. Thanks for the link, I think that will help a lot!

One tiny trick. . .if you take pictures indoors and move a big enough velvet back ground, back a little more. . .it will disappear when you just light the flower only.
Your blooms are really incredible. I am so impressed.
