This is a line bred leucochilum from a very good grower. It just opened today, it will need a number of days for it to fully open and flatten out. The color is not the darkest that I have seen but over all it is a flower, I love the pristine pouch.

Actually not a true Paph person, but I love them. Bad water here, so shying away from them. I am trying to grow a Maudiae type hybrid right now with water from my water filter (not R/O). Roots seem to be growing quite well. If I succeed with this one I want to try a Paphiopedilum micranthum since they like hard water.
Yours is gorgeous! I know that some people classify them as a variety of godefroyae. Do they need lime supplement?

I have one of these guys. Got it from Sam @ Orchid Inn. Come to think of it, it might be the only or one of the few species paphs that I have, It has certainly taken some time to get a handle on the growing conditions that they require and truly I still feel like I'm flying by the seat of my A** with this one. But I love it and baby it and it's growing a good sized new growth. Ginnibug
I've been looking for one of these, mind telling me where you got it? I've been thinking of ordering from Sam, but the $150 phyto fee is a little steep
Auger - The place that I bought this one from is no longer in business but check out Hausermann's, they have good quality plants at much lower prices than I paid for mine. With Sam, you have to find out when he is going to be in the states and pre-order. Paph. leucochilum: Orchids By Hausermann
