I personally would LOVE to have Rosy Dawn ( the variation with no pink cast but either completely white with spots or white and yellow center with little spots). One paphiopedilum complex specialty farm I found has lots of nice ones including Rosy Dawn but their price is in the hundreds to thousands, which I cannot afford, or not willing to spend on a plant.

I read complex types develop buds best at night temperature 59-63 F and over 80F will abort them.
Then again, there would be exceptions depending on the breeding background.

I just thought these complex types were all winter bloomers. I bought all my complex types in december. well, I bought two more in March as well, but most were seen at stores in the middle of winter.

How are your complex paphs grow for you? I also read that the green complex are among the easiest, which are what I have. then I have one with spots. so far, all is growing well.
I have a gorgeous complex Paph. NOID from Trader Joe's (actually it had a tag, but the name wasn't anything I could find; probably should find out who the vendor is and call them up). It re-bloomed for me in Decemper, and stayed in bloom all winter and through April. Now the next growth is almost done growing, so I'm hoping for the sheath to start emerging by the end of summer. The two I mentioned in the previous post have been in my care for about 3 months now. I'll send you a PM with the info where I got Rosy Dawn; I think it's the kind you might like. It finally adjusted to my growing conditions, and I noticed a sheath a few days ago.
The Strawberries 'n' Cream I got on ebay, and it came with over 10 growths! As of right now, it looks like 3 will bloom.
For some strange reason, Paphs have been really easy for me, even though the humidity in my growing area is almost non-existent. I also have 2 more named ones that grow really well, and rebloom on each new growth. Because the days now are very hot, I actually let the pots sit in water... I know, it's supposed to be a no-no, but my Paphs and Phals like it in summer. The pots dry up completely in 2 days, so I have to water quite often now.
I also have Paph. lowii, which is in bloom now with 2 flows, and has one more bud. I got it 1.5 yrs ago with 5 flowers, but in my conditions, I'm happy with 3
