Mutant, that bud is sooooo pretty! You've got good camera, or maybe you are a great photographer, I just love that little hair all over it! Lovely!

Bob, what is the scent like? I wanted to get some of these frangrant phals, but they for some reason don't do well in my conditions. Is it warm grower?

its hard to describe on this one! its like a spicy sweet. but its not too sweet. and its not too too strong either. its a tiny bit citrusy. but not much. i grow it with the rest of my phals. its venosa x micholitzii, so it may need a little bit warmer then usual. but should be fine with any other phals. if you want somethign that smells real good and strong, id suggest something else, like a bellina, violacea, or leuddemanniana

My camera isn't that good and neither am I, but I suppose we are a lucky combination.
My little pretty has opened now and I'm a very proud Paph mommy (I'll start a new thread for it so I can brag a lot without highjacking anyone else's thread ).

Here is one of my 2 orchids The other one has just spikes.
I cant wait for this beauty to bloom! She was in bloom when My dad her for me on valitines day. He left her on the sunny side of the house outside in the rain. So that cost it its first set of blooms. They are now comming back! It grew so fast I could have sat there and watched it grow!
