Here's my very "buddy" Paph. ciliolare. It came with spike and bud and luckily, didn't abort the spike. It stalled for a bit when a certain someone didn't water it enough, but after getting a proper drenching it has now started to slowly growing it again.

Lovely buds! Mine has finally opened... However, one of the buds has a lip that looks as if it didn't get enough air pumped into it  I have no idea how could such thing happen... Does anyone know what could this be the sign of? |

I don't know what it could be a sign of, but I don't know if it's any cause for worry if the rest of the plant looks fine, but I'm just a newbie when it comes to Paphs, when it comes to Phrags I think I might score minus points on a knowledge test...

Beautiful! I don't grow these, so can't help you out - that's quite interesting. Start a new thread asking about that if you aren't getting any opinions regarding that in this thread. |

I took my little ciliolare out on my balcony today for a photosession. While I was crawling around there on all four, Pelle thought it a great idea to try to cuddle with me, the camera, the Paph, and everything. After I don't know how many wasted shots I finally managed to take one.
I took it against a dark background (it's ugly, I know) so as to show the colour variations on the petals. It's not much time left now!
