Love Muriels Pearl, I love fuzzy Paphs!!

That's not the true red squirrel that there is in Europe (unless the UK had something entirely different) Red squirrels have large tufts of fur on their ears, and are much redder. I'm happy that we don't have the invasive gray ones over here yet...
Oh my, you're right! I didn't even notice the lack of fur tufts on its ears. Man, talk about not having your eyes with you (Swedish expression)!

This is how the squirrels look like in Sweden: Ekorre

the 2 paphs are either one of the 3. Paphiopedilum Hawaiian Illusion, Paphiopedilum Hawaiian Contrast or a Paphiopedilum Memoria Jeffrey Ma. Lots of Raisins

I have a few extra superbiens of this one I sure do.The others are just about to bust out. .
I have to say thats my fav too as far as looks form and color. Thats a monstrous good looking flower IMO.

fuzzy slippers!!! do they come in gold with sequins?

We call these brown squirrels but they are all eastern grey squirrels. We do have them in gray ,coal dark black and outright red. The black ones are huge and are big bullies. Squirrels go thru melanistic phases and change colors to adapt to the environment. And these are the ones that were introduced to the UK and seem to be displacing the native UK Reds. The smaller ones tend to be mostly brown and tame fairly easily when it comes to feeding them. I learned the hard way though dont feed em with no shoes on. Your toes look like a peanut to em and they will get nibbled on. They dont bite, but they will sit on my lap and pee.... ahhhhh what ya gonna dooooo now. They chatter with me too as I speak squirrel

thanks you all I have some more coming up...dont go toooo far away!!!
