Default culture tips on Paph woluwense (niveum x rothchildianum)

Got a paph woluwense.

After getting heard its easy to grow and hard to flower. literature says 30 yrs of non flower is the usual.

Anyone have any tips?

I have read that when the parent pod are niveum. They are much easier to bloom than a clone with a rothschildianum as a pod parent.

tbadams - that was true of some of the old roth crosses. Those same roth crosses made today with different roth parents have been blooming on much younger plants. No secret tricks to blooming them.

Whew...thanks for the infos, Glen...I dont want to wait 30 years for that plant to bloom...Id be retired or dead
