Might want to repot it now, if it is outgrowing its pot. While the spikes are short. If it is sequential, you might not get another chance for a year or so...

Oh, what the heck, love the foliage anyway!
Yeah, judging by the leaves alone, I agree. All kind of paphs are bred to flower in sequential fashion now. I still prefer one single big bloom or multi, but this one is just for fun.

yes, I'm loving the foliage and the hairy buds a lot

Default Thank you, everyone!

I'm enjoying this plant very much and of course, I can't wait to see the bloom, which I will definitely post.

Orchidthief- I looked up some images of dellaina and I think I could live with that.

littlefrog- thank you for the reminder. The plant being very packed in the current pot and growing new roots all over, I think it will be nice to repot it now. Thing is I don't have a right pot for it. I just repotted a few of my paphs and leftover mix, but this is rather annoying because I don't want to order just one pot and pay shipping which might actually cost more than the pot itself. I only use tall plastic pot for paphs.
Or should I just leave it and repot it next year or whenever the flowering finishes? hmmm

Great healthy plant!! Love the mottled leaves. This will be a show stopper when it blooms!

You can actually repot most paphs in full bloom without any noticeable effect, but it can be a bit scary. Breaking a spike is never fun.

You can order several pots and mix, you know you are going to use them both eventually!

With four spikes and potentially a very very long blooming period, I think it'll be great. I really hope I will like the flowers.

littlefrog- maybe I will slide it into a bigger size pot without removing media and messing with the roots too much. Oh, know, breaking the flower spike will be heartbreaking, especially with the ones you grow for many months and finally come in to spike/bloom.

Default Spikes are growing :)

So it's been about ten days and the buds on the tallest two spikes look like they will open in about a week or less. can't wait!!!

I see at least four little buds on each spike.

The shorter two spikes are now well above the foliage as well.

really love the dark coloration on the back of the leaves.

Default The mytery unveiled!

At least I am pretty sure of it.

So the first two flowers have been open for a few days now with some more to open in the next few days.
It looks like this plant will have two flowers open at the same time. The third buds on two of the spikes have fallen off on its own. don't know why.

I believe my NOID paph is Paph. Dellaina.
I looked up lots of images of this hybrid, and some were all pink, and some were all yellowish, and others were like mine, combination of pink and yellow.

I think I can live with this plant. I love the leaves the most but also like how plentiful the potential bloom will be in the next week or two. will post a pic again when all the buds are open.

One thing I did notice is though, the pouch of one of the two flowers is deformed. This is not the first time I get paph with deformed flowers but not liking that so much.
Also, both flowers have lots of small white streaks on their pouch. None of the internet image I found had this irregularity, which I really no not like at all.
maybe the messed up genes, or virus....no!!!!!

Anyways, I think I will at least enjoy the flowers while they last. Flowers look almost glowing in the early evening as the diminishing day light reflects off the flowers from their backside.

I'll see if I can capture that. haven't been quite successful so far.
