Thank You, Ray ! The search in the net sent me to appletonianum thats how I was able to find its culture.
I hope so! I've ordered one now (there went my purchase ban out the window) and it'll be delivered in a 4.7" pot so hopefully it'll be blooming sized and as beautiful as yours (and I hope it really is a hainanense and not something else).

but of course it must be a true hainanense...they will lose their reputation as seller if they stiff you...
the way you said the size of the pot: it is blooming size.
I am excited for you. show us pictures of the blooms....

Well, they sell some unregistered hybrids and a P. equestris I've bought a keiki from has had its identity as a true equestris questioned, so I hope it is a hainanense. I'm going to contact them about the equestris in question and ask about it. I think it is a true species equestris, but it's always good to have it confirmed by the vendor.

You shouldn't encourage me Bud, I'll spam the forum when this beauty arrives.

Gorgeous! I love the mottled leaves. They make it beautiful even when not in flower. Thanks for sharing! I like seeing pics of the whole plant too.
