I agree with Paphmadman the appletonianum group is highly underrated.

Nice bloom! I didn't know this species was so small. I'll have to add it to my wishlist!

I really like the appletonianum group, too. But there are so many Paphs I like that I haven't quite gotten around to these ones...yet.

I believe hainanense is now considered to be a population of appletonianum that is growing on Hainan.

Most modern references will redirect you to appletonianum.

Lovely plant and flower. The spike on mine is only 2 inches long at the moment. I have some waiting to do.

Thank You, Jonada ! You will be surprised that its just 2 inches now...but as it starts to open its blooms the spike will grow taller
