One of my favorite Paphs has always been Paph parishii.
I no longer have it and don't remember which way the petals twisted but have always wondered. If the petals twist clockwise in the Northern hemispere would they twist counter-clockwise if grow in the Southern hemispere? Or is it genetically predisposed to always twist in the same direction? Just curious.
I've seen parishii and other twisty petal Paphs where the 2 petals are like mirror images, so one is twisting clockwise and the other is twisting counter-clockwise. I've also seen them both twisting in the same direction. I don't know if it is genetic or random, but I'm sure you can't generalize whichever hemisphere you're in.
