I should have been called curious George, but can you tell me how long a period it took from the time you first noticed the shoot until it opened? It's very beautiful!

Nice photo sequence!
Here is my Hsinying Majakun 'The Fluke' for obvious reasons. It bloomed for the first time in 2003 with a double dorsal.
Every other subsequent bloom has had this characteristic. Lovely, although odd.

Wow, that double dorsal is unique! Is that considered peloric - even though it's a duplication and not an imitation?
Kiki doo - from the time the little bud was noticed to a stand-up bloom was 5 weeks. And now it has two new growths!

That's a great quality flower, looks to have good shape for a Maudiae type hybrid. Love the dorsal and some great colour!

Judges and a botanist that saw 'The Fluke' called it an 'abnormality' or 'mutation' but no one defined the double dorsal as 'pelorism'.

This is not a peloric. A peloric in paphs would be petals that are similar to the lip (pouch). So, they would have 3 pouches or pouch type parts.
This flower just has a split dorsal sepal, and it could flower normally next time. More common are split ventral sepals.

'The Fluke' can (and has) bloomed normally at alternate flowerings.
My observation each time it has bloomed abnormally is that there are two distinct dorsal sepals and two distinct staminodes.
