Paph. Onyx
One of my two Maudiae-type Paph. Onyx plants is in bloom again - I've managed to keep these plants in thriving health for over a year now, through repotting and one of them back into flower. Yay!

That is a wonderful old cross that was first made by Vacherot-Lecoufle in 1945 that has withstood the test of time. It has been remade a few times with better quality parents but the plants we see today, in my opinion, are no better than the original. Nice.

I quite like the pouch shape, but I think judges would find it a bit "pointy". Ah, plant judging and it's subjective objectivity!
