this plant was labeled as william ambler x sanderianum, also known as lefty kei. Of all the pictures i've seen of lefty kei, this one looked fairly different ( no twisting of the petals, not as dark of a dorsal sepal) I've sent some pictures to expert and am waiting to hear his opinion. Until I hear otherwise, I'll still call it a lefty kei. any thoughts are welcome.
That is a very interesting plant. The flowers are in action as if in flight. I hope the second blooms and the third ones will manifest the true form of your flower. But as it is now, it is quite unique.
I was able to confirm from a vendor, who conferred with the hybridizer, that the label is correct. Just a variable cross. I would love this plant no matter what its ancestry!!!
