I've never seen this guy bloom before. I haven't been able to find a pic of a cross like this one online. Anyone know what it might look like?

Thanks!

Here is a link to the bulldog parent, the Paph Pinnochio shouldn't really change it much colorwise, it may reduce the width of the petals.

Wow! That's a big speckled thing, isn't it. Thanks for the link - it's a great pic.

Hmm, that should be an interesting bloom. I wouldn't have thought to cross those two. Can't wait to see it!

Right? Pinocchio has such tiny, twisty petals - I can't picture how that affects the round flat great pacific.

We'll see. Maybe another 2-3 weeks? I'll definitely post pics when the first one opens up.

Well, after much anticipation, here are the results of the cross. It's a giant of a bloom and the colors came out really nicely. The right petal Is a little bent in because of the leaf behind it - otherwise I think it would be a bit flatter and more laterally symmetrical. Hope you like it.

How nice!! Seems that Pinnocchio mainly influenced the color and made the pouch more closed at the top.
