Paph. purpuratum '#Z3435 x Paph. purpuratum '#2117'
Took this little one home with me after an auction a few months back. Can't take credit for blooming it - but can take credit for not blasting the buds or killing it before it could open. I wish my other paphs had this inverted dorsal sepal. Looks like the first blooming for this one. I hope on the next one the lip is more consistently purple and not so green. Fingers crossed.

J - I really like the shape on this one, I would like to see more purple coloration in th pouch but it a young plant, grow it on and see what happens. Love this species. Do you think you could post a picture of the flower in profile? Just curious as to how flat it is.

It's pretty flat for a paph. It doesn't have that Jay Leno chin thing going on.
